I went to China for four days in Oct. 2001 to meet with Mr. King and his company after I met him through an internet international business bulletin board (www.alibaba.com). I went global in my pursuit of a manufacturer and after many false starts in Pakistan, India, Spain, and Mexico I finally met the company that was just right for me. They provided the skilled handwork artisans I needed with very satisfactory service."

I arrived in Shanghai International Airport and I was met by Mr. King and his staff who drove me to the City of Wenzhou. It was an amazing drive first on highways and then on secondary roads through the mountains south along the coast through Zhejiang province. Wenzhou City has a long history of trading with the West since the 19th century and is the major port between Shanghai and Hong Kong.
